MB3 Prepbot
155 medical students. 71,377 questions answered. 25 of them paid.
We all had the same mountain of past questions and no way through it but time.
My classmates and I were preparing for the same board exams off the same enormous pile of material. I worked through it, solved it, and turned the whole thing into a Telegram bot — somewhere you get asked one question at a time instead of facing the pile.
It spread on its own. Students paid for it without being asked to. One of them took a distinction in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and put the daily drilling and the spaced repetition down as the reason.
It is the only thing here that had paying users before it had a page on a website.
Halleluyah Oludele · founderThe only product we run that reaches the end of the rail: built, live, measured, and earning money from students who chose to pay. Everything below is from the production database on 19 September 2026.
Questions arrive as Telegram quiz polls. No app to open.
Answers are scored the moment they are given.
People stick with a leaderboard when they will not stick with flashcards.
Sign up, take part, pay
155 students, August to September 2026
One in six people who signed up paid — and one in five of those who actually used it. For a student product with no sales team, that is the number that matters.
How much they got right
Percentage correct, by subject
Obstetrics runs 12 points behind. The same gap shows in every O&G topic, which points at our content, not at the students.
Daily users
29 August to 17 September 2026
Held above twenty for three weeks, then fell to one user in ten days. We have not established whether the exam moved, the cohort left, or the product stopped being worth opening.
When they actually study
Actions by hour, Africa/Lagos
We send the drill at 06:30 — one of the quietest hours on the clock. The real peaks are mid-afternoon and 9pm, and midnight to 3am carries 8,861 actions on its own.
Money, as it came in
Cumulative naira, 16 August to 8 September
22 August alone brought in ₦17,000 — 36% of everything, in one day. Revenue follows attention, and attention was never bought.

What we do not claim
- Not “questions from 1990–2024” — the year field is filled on 330 of 4,752 rows, so the range is true of the source documents but is not queryable.
- Not “871 disputed questions” — the live total is 960. One of the two is stale and we have not established which.
- No exam durations — untimed papers sit open indefinitely, which drags the mean to 709 minutes and makes it meaningless.
- No group-drill engagement — the answers table is empty.
And here is what the same database says against us.
- Sign-ups stopped57% arrived in the first two days. Nothing since 11 September.
- Then usage collapsed33 daily users on 7 September. One on the 17th.
- A quarter never started39 of 155 signed up and answered nothing at all.
- We drill at the wrong hour06:30 is one of the quietest. The peak is 9pm.
- Revision is stalling97.8% of spaced-repetition cards are overdue.
- The group feature is dead10 posts, 1 run, zero answers.
